  • We operate with the pace and ambiguity of a start-up.
  • Priorities move quickly. Standards are high. We work hard and support each other.
  • We want people who take ownership, think clearly and care about building something meaningful.

The role

  • We are hiring a Head of Product and Technology to lead product, design and engineering across DDRE Global.
  • This is a senior role reporting to the COO and CEO. You will lead the function, set direction and drive delivery across multiple work streams, ensuring the roadmap stays aligned to business priorities.
  • Your primary focus will be the delivery of our core platform initiative. You will own the path to launch, including scope, sequencing, resourcing, risk and stakeholder alignment.
  • Alongside this, you will oversee a smaller portfolio of internal products and systems, including dashboarding, reporting, automation and operational improvements. These remain important, but are secondary to the core platform initiative.
  • This role needs a strong department leader who can contribute at senior level while driving high-quality execution through product, design and engineering day to day.
  • Strong judgement in platform security, data protection and AI product development is essential, particularly in the practical application of LLMs.
  • What you will be responsible for
  • Own the product and technology strategy across DDRE Global.
  • Lead delivery of the core platform initiative as the company’s highest-priority technology project.
  • Manage a multidisciplinary team across product, engineering and design, based in London, New Zealand and the Philippines.
  • Set priorities across concurrent initiatives, making clear decisions on sequencing, resourcing and trade-offs.
  • Maintain a clear roadmap, strong delivery discipline, clear ownership and regular reporting.
  • Work closely with the COO, CEO and wider leadership team to turn business priorities into execution plans.
  • Ensure the team has the right structure, standards and ways of working to deliver at pace.
  • Oversee secondary systems and side projects, including dashboarding, reporting, CRM improvement and automation, without losing focus on the core priority.
  • Make clear decisions on what should be built in-house, integrated or deferred.
  • Raise the standard of product thinking, delivery management, stakeholder communication and accountability across the function.
  • Maintain high standards in platform security, access control, data governance and risk management.
  • Ensure security is built into product design, technical architecture and delivery processes.
  • Identify where LLMs and AI can create practical value across the business, and turn those opportunities into clear product direction and prioritised use cases.
  • Guide the responsible use of AI, balancing pace, reliability, data sensitivity and commercial value.
  • Present strategy, roadmap updates and key recommendations clearly to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

What success looks like

  • The core platform initiative is delivered at pace, with clear ownership and sound decision-making.
  • Product, design and engineering operate as one aligned department.
  • Multiple work streams are managed well, with the core platform initiative protected as the top priority.
  • Senior leadership has confidence in the roadmap, the team and the quality of delivery.
  • Secondary systems continue to improve in a structured and proportionate way.
  • Security is treated as a core leadership responsibility.
  • AI and LLM opportunities are turned into practical, high-value product decisions.
  • The department becomes more focused, accountable and effective.

About you

  • You are an experienced functional leader who has run product and technology in a fast-moving business.
  • You have led multiple products or major initiatives at the same time and know how to prioritise, protect focus and keep teams moving.
  • You are comfortable managing through others and know how to get the best from product managers, engineers and designers.
  • You are credible with senior leadership. You communicate clearly, make sound recommendations and handle complexity with confidence.
  • You combine strategic judgement with execution discipline. You turn priorities into plans, and plans into results.
  • You are structured, commercially aware and calm under pressure.
  • You bring strong judgment on security, risk and data protection, and know how to embed these into product and technology leadership.
  • You have strong expertise in LLMs and AI, and know how to apply this in a practical business and product context.
  • You are confident in presenting to senior stakeholders and explaining complex decisions clearly.
  • You care about quality, pace and business impact.

Skills and experience

  • Strong experience owning roadmap strategy, prioritisation and trade-off decisions.
  • Experience operating as part of a senior leadership team.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to connect product decisions to business outcomes.
  • Experience improving systems, workflows, automation and internal operational tooling.
  • A solid understanding of modern web products, integrations and scalable delivery environments.
