Working on a national scale with a specific focus on Ireland and Northern Ireland you will drive sales growth by bridging the gap between complex engineering challenges and innovative technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Identify and convert new opportunities within various industrial sectors.
- Consultative Sales: Deliver tailored technical solutions and provide expert support to clients.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
- Site Engagement: Lead client meetings and site visits to gain a deep understanding of specific engineering needs.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with technical and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery and close deals.
What We re Looking For
- Sales Track Record: Proven success in technical B2B sales, ideally within engineering or industrial environments.
- Engineering Expertise: A background in mechanical or electromechanical engineering is essential (either via formal qualification or significant hands-on experience).
- Commercial Acumen: Strong awareness of market dynamics and the ability to present complex solutions with clarity.
- Communication: A confident communicator with a natural mindset for building professional relationships.
- Mobility: Full UK driving licence and comfortable with national travel and regular client-facing work.
- Regional Expertise: Must have previous experience selling into Ireland or Northern Ireland, with a strong understanding of the local industrial landscape and market dynamics.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, or related industrial solutions is a distinct advantage.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
