Lead Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and build scalable, cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP).
* Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
* Deliver dashboards and reports using Power BI.
* Lead a small team of data engineers and analysts.
* Support AI/ML analytics and data science initiatives.
* Ensure data governance, quality, and security compliance (eg GDPR).
* Work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver data-driven insights.
* Improve data processes, automation, and system performance.

Lead Data Engineer

Attributes/Skills:

* Strong experience in data engineering and cloud platforms.
* Proficient in SQL, Python, and Power BI (DAX, Power Query).
* Experience with data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL pipelines.
* Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and modern data tools.
* Previous team leadership or mentoring experience.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience in professional services (legal or similar) preferred.
