Application Developer
Overview
This role supports and enhances business‐critical applications and databases within a professional services environment. You’ll work closely with technical teams and end users to ensure systems are secure, reliable, and optimised, contributing to application development, automation, and database management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, configure, and maintain core business applications (case management, document management, and database systems)
- Develop and enhance Microsoft Office solutions, including templates, automation, and data integration
- Support and optimise SQL Server databases under direction
- Gather requirements and deliver technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders
- Maintain application security, data protection, and secure coding standards
- Assist with reporting, workload management, and project delivery
- Provide occasional out‐of‐hours support when required

- Case Management systems (front‐ and back‐end)
- SQL Server (365)
- VBA, VBScript, PowerShell
- HTML & CSS
- Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Exchange
- IIS configuration and management
Desirable
- SQL Server administration (DBA)
- T‐SQL development (stored procedures, triggers, reporting)
- SSRS report development
