Application Developer

Overview

This role supports and enhances business‐critical applications and databases within a professional services environment. You’ll work closely with technical teams and end users to ensure systems are secure, reliable, and optimised, contributing to application development, automation, and database management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, configure, and maintain core business applications (case management, document management, and database systems)
• Develop and enhance Microsoft Office solutions, including templates, automation, and data integration
• Support and optimise SQL Server databases under direction
• Gather requirements and deliver technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders
• Maintain application security, data protection, and secure coding standards
• Assist with reporting, workload management, and project delivery
• Provide occasional out‐of‐hours support when required

• Case Management systems (front‐ and back‐end)
• SQL Server (365)
• VBA, VBScript, PowerShell
• HTML & CSS
• Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Exchange
• IIS configuration and management

Desirable

• SQL Server administration (DBA)
• T‐SQL development (stored procedures, triggers, reporting)
• SSRS report development
