DGH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the professional services industry who require a Cyber Security Support Technician to join the firm in Tunbridge Wells. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and remediating security vulnerabilities across the firms network, software, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with external security providers to investigate unusual or malicious security alerts.
  • Respond to security events according to predefined procedures, identifying and categorizing risks, and escalating complex issues to higher levels.
  • Act on security patch notification, coordinating remediation with the business and external providers , ensuring patches are tested and rolled out within the time frame set out by the firms cyber security accreditations.
  • Use tools available to proactively monitor network systems and user logs for suspicious activity and potential security threats.
  • Create and maintain cyber security maintenance procedure documentation.
  • Provide first and second line IT support for 300 staff when required to cover for leave.
  • Provide third line IT support for the service desk and projects teams when required.
