Innovation Advisor

LegalTech Innovation Advisor – London (Hybrid, up to £70k)

Are you the type of person who loves spotting opportunities to make things work smarter, not harder? Someone who gets a thrill from turning tech investments into real-world solutions that actually make lawyers' lives easier? Then this could be the perfect role for you.

I'm working with a top-tier international law firm in London, looking for a Legaltech Innovation Advisor to join their IT team. You'll be in the office three days a week, with flexibility for the rest.

What you'll be doing

You'll act as the bridge between lawyers and technology, making sure new tools and innovations aren't just implemented, but actually adopted and delivering value. Your day-to-day might include:

  • Working closely with lawyers and teams to understand their pain points and capture business requirements, ensuring any solution really fits their needs.
  • Leading workshops, pilots, and co-creation sessions to design and implement smarter processes and tech solutions.
  • Developing and delivering training, guidance, and awareness sessions so colleagues confidently use the tools available.
  • Using your solution design, consulting, and business analysis experience to document requirements, propose improvements, and make ideas actionable.
  • Applying process improvement techniques like Lean or Six Sigma, and using tools such as process maps, fishbone diagrams, and root cause analysis to make work smoother.
  • Managing projects using Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies – you know when to pick the right approach and make it work.
  • Keeping an eye on emerging legal tech trends and helping the firm stay ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborating across IT, Knowledge Management, Legal Risk, and other teams to ensure smooth adoption and measurable ROI.

Who they're looking for

  • 2+ years' experience in a legal environment – law firm, corporate legal department, or legal tech provider.
  • Experience in business analysis, solution design, consulting, and/or client-facing roles.
  • Skilled in eliciting and documenting business requirements and translating them into actionable solutions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and comfortable applying process improvement tools and techniques.
  • Able to communicate complex technical concepts in clear, non-technical language.
  • Confident problem-solver, facilitator, and team player who thrives in dynamic environments.
  • Bonus points for design thinking experience or fluency in French or German (not a deal breaker).

Perks & Practicalities

  • Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
  • Competitive salary up to £70k.
  • Work with a collaborative, international firm where your ideas and impact really matter.
  • Be part of a team that values innovation, efficiency, and making legal tech actually work for people.

If you're ready to turn tech into tangible solutions, improve processes, and help lawyers work smarter (not harder), I want to hear from you. Apply here now or pop over your cv to nruocco@dghrecruitment.co.uk
