Senior Applications Analyst - Permanent - London/Hybrid - £65,000 per annum

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Applications Analyst to join our London based law firm on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of the firm's Aderant Expert practice management system, including maintenance, upgrades, and integrations.
• Build, maintain, and optimise SQL queries, databases, and reports to ensure high data accuracy and performance.
• Develop and manage Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teams to improve workflows and streamline data processes.
• Provide advanced technical support and act as an escalation point for application-related issues.
• Support system integrations between Aderant, Microsoft 365, and other legal applications.
• Contribute to the delivery of projects including system upgrades, automation initiatives, and data improvements.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Aderant Expert (administration, configuration, integrations, and workflow optimisation).
• Excellent SQL skills, including database management, scripting, and report writing.
• Proven experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data flows.
• Solid understanding of data integrity, security, and performance optimisation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Clear communicator with the ability to translate technical solutions for non-technical users.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Visual Files or other case management systems.
• Exposure to Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or other cloud environments.
• Experience with C#, PowerShell, or other scripting/programming languages.
• Understanding of ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Interest or experience in AI, automation, or data analytics innovation.
