IT Support Engineer - Bedford

Our client, a Bedford based MSP, seeks a permanent Tech Support serving one of their international clients. Minimum 2 years' IT Support experience. Duties include:

  • Management of incidents and requests on site at their respective locations. This includes support for the industrial environment (printers, scanners, etc.).
  • Case management for standard users, VIPs, and senior management at their facilities and other locations, resolving them remotely.
  • On-site support and practical assistance in the buildings where they reside, always with the support of the service associated with the request.
  • Preparation of videoconferencing rooms with user profiles and, in the event of an incident, opening a case with the service provider.
  • Support for senior management videoconference meetings.
  • Reconfiguration of equipment.
  • Being present during supplier visits to complete tasks and show them the facilities.
  • Configuration of mobile and landline phones. Activation of SIM cards and coordination with the local supplier when necessary.
  • Deletion or cleaning of data from updated equipment at your facilities, according to Company procedures.
  • Maintenance and inventory control.
  • Follow-up on escalated cases.
