Paid Media Manager
We’re working with an established, fast-growing specialist agency that’s looking for a Paid Media Manager to join its Performance team.
This is a role for someone who is genuinely hands-on with paid social and digital media and wants to be involved in campaigns from the initial brief right through to optimisation, reporting and client recommendations.
The big thing we’re looking for is strong paid social experience from day one. You’ll be comfortable getting into platforms, building and managing campaigns, understanding audiences, reviewing performance and making decisions based on the data.
You’ll work across a range of B2B clients and campaigns, collaborating closely with strategy, creative, content and performance specialists. It’s a varied role where you’ll have the opportunity to influence how campaigns are planned and delivered, rather than simply being responsible for campaign execution.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and optimising paid social campaigns, particularly across platforms such as LinkedIn and Meta.
- Taking campaigns from brief and planning through to setup, launch, optimisation and reporting.
- Using performance data to identify what’s working, what isn’t and where there are opportunities to improve results.
- Working with strategists to develop channel plans, audiences, KPIs and campaign approaches.
- Working closely with creative and content teams to make sure assets are right for each platform and audience.
- Managing budgets and ensuring campaigns are delivering against agreed objectives.
- Producing clear campaign reports and turning performance data into useful insights and recommendations.
- Supporting digital campaigns across PPC and display, with SEO knowledge being useful but not the main focus of the role.
- Getting involved in tracking, pixels, UTM tagging, analytics and audience/data management.
- Keeping up with changes across paid media platforms and bringing new ideas and opportunities to the team.
- Building strong relationships with clients and being proactive in identifying ways to improve campaign performance.
What we’re looking for...
We’re less interested in someone who ticks every box and more interested in someone who can hit the ground running with paid social.
You’ll ideally have:
- Solid hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns, particularly LinkedIn and/or Meta.
- Experience working across the wider digital media mix, with PPC and display knowledge being a strong advantage.
- Confidence working with campaign data and using it to make optimisation decisions.
- Experience managing multiple campaigns, budgets and deadlines at once.
- A good understanding of audiences, targeting, creative performance and the customer journey.
- The ability to explain performance and recommendations clearly to clients and internal teams.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach — someone who spots opportunities rather than waiting to be asked.
- The curiosity to keep learning and stay on top of changes in the paid media landscape.
Importantly, this isn't a PPC/SEO role with some social exposure. We’re looking for someone with solid paid social and digital campaign management experience.
The agency
You’ll be joining a growing specialist agency working with well-known B2B brands across food, beverage and hospitality. The agency has a strong reputation within its sector and is continuing to grow, so there’s plenty of opportunity for someone ambitious to develop their career alongside the business.
The culture is collaborative, entrepreneurial and genuinely focused on doing good work for clients. You’ll work closely with specialists across performance, strategy, creative and content, giving you exposure to the wider campaign process rather than operating in a silo.
Hybrid working: Bedfordshire-based, with around three days a week in the office and the remainder working from home. Some flexibility will be needed around client and agency requirements.
If you’re a paid media specialist who is particularly strong in paid social, and you’re looking for a role where you can take ownership, work across interesting B2B campaigns and continue developing your digital skillset, we’d be keen to hear from you.
