A well-established live events production partner is looking to bring in a Technical Project Manager to take ownership of complex, high-impact projects from concept through to delivery.

This business works at the intersection of creativity and technical execution, delivering large-scale experiences for global brands and high-profile venues. Projects are varied, fast-paced, and require a high level of collaboration across disciplines.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on, end-to-end role where you’ll take a brief from initial concept, shape the technical solution, and lead delivery on-site. You’ll act as the central point of coordination across clients, internal teams, and technical crews, ensuring projects are executed to a high standard both creatively and commercially.

You’ll be trusted to own your projects, contribute to technical design, and drive outcomes that balance innovation with operational and financial control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop concepts and delivery approaches
  • Build and manage budgets, timelines, and logistics plans
  • Produce detailed proposals, quotations, and technical documentation
  • Lead client communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee technical specifications across lighting, audio, and video elements
  • Manage on-site delivery, coordinating multiple technical teams
  • Troubleshoot in real time and adapt to evolving project requirements

What They’re Looking For

  • Strong technical grounding in one core discipline (lighting, audio, or video), with working knowledge across the others
  • Experience designing and delivering live event technical solutions
  • Confident producing technical drawings, specifications, and H&S documentation
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and rental/project management systems
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and pricing
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving

The Environment

You’ll be joining a collaborative and highly driven team that delivers ambitious, creative work in a supportive and energetic environment. The culture is hands-on, team-oriented, and built around delivering high-quality experiences while maintaining a positive working atmosphere.

Additional Info

  • Based in Hertfordshire with on-site project delivery required
  • Full driving licence beneficial due to the nature of the role
