Business Development Manager / Account Manager
My client is a well-established and expanding IT solutions provider, delivering end-to-end technology services across infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, hardware/software, and managed services.
They are now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Account Manager to drive new business growth while managing and expanding existing client relationships.
The Role
This is a hybrid new business and account management role, ideal for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys building long-term client partnerships alongside winning new business.
You will be responsible for building a strong sales pipeline, closing new opportunities, and increasing revenue across a portfolio of accounts. Working closely with technical and delivery teams, you will design and deliver tailored IT solutions to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities

Generate new business across the UK and International IT solutions and services market

Manage and grow existing customer accounts through upselling and cross-selling

Build, maintain, and progress a healthy sales pipeline from lead generation to close

Lead client meetings, account reviews, and solution presentations

Understand customer requirements and position appropriate IT solutions

Negotiate commercial terms and manage contracts

Maintain accurate CRM records and produce sales reports
Key Requirements

Proven experience in both new business development and account management

Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
