IT Apprentice
We have an exciting opportunity for an IT apprentice to join our dynamic technology department. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the technology manager in handing IT issues and projects. You will be involved in the day-to-day management of the IT within the business.
Role
- Support day-to-day communication with our Managed Service Provider, under the guidance of the Technology Manager
- Log, track, and escalate IT issues to ensure timely resolution
- Help track outstanding support requests and flag delays to the Technology Manager
- Keep supplier performance management with the manager
- Support users by ensuring issues are followed through to completion
- Maintain documentation of systems, users, IT and Data polices and assets
- Assist the Technology Manager and cybersecurity partner with agreed security activities and recommendations
- Support implementation of security recommendations
- Support the evaluation and testing of approved AI tools and simple automation opportunities
- Report suspected security incidents promptly and assist with agreed response activities under supervision
- Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes. Assist with creating and delivering the business AI strategy
- Support internal projects involving systems or data
- Act as a bridge between technical suppliers and business users
