Digital Business Apprentice

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT & Digital Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and wants to develop practical skills across both hardware and software support within a busy healthcare environment.

Role

  • Providing first-line IT support to staff
  • Assisting with hardware setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Helping staff with login issues, password resets, and user accounts
  • Maintaining printers, scanners, and other office equipment
  • Supporting software installations, updates, and system access
  • Helping ensure devices and systems are secure and compliant
  • Logging and tracking IT support requests
  • Assisting with onboarding new starters and setting up equipment
  • Assisting with website updates and digital content management
  • Supporting the use and promotion of the NHS App and related digital services both amongst staff and patients
  • Supporting wider digital transformation projects within the organisation

Training

  • Information Communications Technician Level 3
  • 1 day per week at the college (term-time)
  • Workplace mentor
  • College assessor
