Oracle ERP Consultant
The Role
This role is within our Delivery team, and within our ERP capability, delivering services principally against the Oracle E-Business Suite products as well as some Cloud ERP products. The role will be mostly delivering against DSP’s Application Managed Service engagements, but will also include delivering some project work.
The role will involve occasional client (UK wide) travel, as well as occasional travel for internal meetings. The role will be home based.
The successful candidate will be primarily an Oracle Financials/Procurement hybrid functional/technical consultant:
- Covering the following modules:
- General Ledger.
- Accounts Payable.
- Accounts Receivable.
- Cash Management.
- Fixed Assets.
- iExpenses.
- Purchasing.
- iProcurement.
- Outstanding Functional capability.
- Excellent consultancy/customer-facing skills.
- Good technical capability.
- Previous experience of working in a support/managed services.
Your Experience and Skills
- Outstanding Functional capability to include:
- Deep understanding of Financials and Procurement modules including iProcurement.
- Good knowledge of modules like Order Management and Inventory.
- Understanding of complementary SCM or Projects related modules.
- Good technical capability, to include:
- Detailed knowledge of the Financials and Procurement data structures.
- Deep knowledge of Oracle development tools, including areas such as PL/SQL & APIs, Alerts, Workflow, BI Publisher & Bursting.
- Excellent customer-facing consultancy skills:
- Excellent English: written, spoken, presentation and comprehension skills.
- Good understanding of Financials and Procurement business process and accounting knowledge should underpin your consultancy skills.
- Desirable if you have an understanding of current trends and best practice.
- Previous experience of working within a support environment, underpinned by ITIL based working practices (you should ideally be certified at Foundation level for ITIL, but training to support this will be provided if a you can demonstrate understanding of the principles).

- ITIL v3/v4 Certification would be desirable.
