IT Support & Infrastructure Analyst (Leeds – Onsite 5 days but in time offers hybrid)

This is an exciting role working for a Leading International Law firm on an initial 12 month fixed term contract while the firm are embarking on an exciting programme of change to transform how they deliver IT services across the firm. This hybrid role will play a key part in enhancing our business as usual (BAU) service delivery while supporting a range of infrastructure initiatives.

Based onsite in our Leeds office five days per week, you will work closely with two IT colleagues and the wider Service Desk team. You’ll be responsible for resolving 2nd line support calls, assisting with higher level escalations, and acting as a visible, hands on IT presence for colleagues.

Occasional travel to our London and Birmingham offices will be required for training and annual leave cover.

This is a varied role combining Service Desk responsibilities with infrastructure level technical work. Alongside BAU tasks, you will also take ownership of smaller infrastructure projects, managing them through the full lifecycle from planning to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve support tickets both deskside and remotely using RMM tools
  • Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support, including joiners/leavers processes and device builds
  • Troubleshoot and support Microsoft 365, Windows 11, and Windows Server (2019/2022)
  • Manage and support laptop endpoints and mobile devices via MDM
  • Support document and email management systems (iManage or similar preferred)
  • Administer and support:
  • Microsoft 365 (Entra, Exchange Online, Intune, Teams)
  • Cisco Meraki (Wi-Fi access points, switches, firewalls)
  • Mimecast, Egress, MFA solutions (Cisco DUO / Microsoft Authenticator)
  • Check Point Harmony SASE (or equivalent)
  • Monitor infrastructure environments proactively
  • Assist with and lead small infrastructure projects and upgrades
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Cyber Essentials and ISO27001 standards
  • Support internal/external audits and information security processes
  • Assist with incident response and routine security reporting

Skills & Experience Required

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar IT Support role, ideally within legal or professional services
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
  • Effective time management with the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Flexible and proactive approach to meeting deadlines
