A global law firm is looking for a junior SharePoint Migration Engineer to support a major document and collaboration platform migration project.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate, junior engineer, or early-career IT professional with exposure to SharePoint / Microsoft 365 who is looking to build hands-on experience within a large-scale, enterprise environment.

You’ll be joining a well-established technology team and supporting the migration of content, documents, and sites across SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environments.

The Role

You’ll support the delivery of a large SharePoint migration programme, helping with the movement, organisation, and validation of data and content across collaboration platforms.

This role would suit someone who has a good understanding of SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and document management / collaboration tools, and who is keen to gain experience in a structured project environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the migration of content, files, and documents across SharePoint / Microsoft 365 environments
  • Assist with site, folder, and document library reviews
  • Help with data cleansing, file structure organisation, and content preparation
  • Validate migrated content and support post-migration checks
  • Work with internal users and project teams to resolve migration-related issues
  • Assist with permissions reviews and access-related checks
  • Support testing, user acceptance activity, and migration documentation
  • Help ensure content is migrated accurately and in line with project timelines

Skills & Experience Required

  • Exposure to or experience with SharePoint, SharePoint Online, or Microsoft 365
  • Good understanding of document libraries, permissions, folders, and file structures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work through structured migration tasks
  • Comfortable supporting users and resolving basic technical issues
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a wider project / technology team

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a migration, support, or administration role
  • Exposure to Teams, OneDrive, or Office 365 / Microsoft 365
  • Experience working with documents, records, or content-heavy environments
  • Any experience within a professional services or legal environment would be beneficial
