Software Developer (Applications Support / SQL) – iManage Experience Desirable
We are currently with a leading Legal services client of ours that are seeking a talented and versatile Software Developer to join a growing and dynamic team. The Role
You will play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing a range of business-critical applications. This position is ideal for someone who is not only technically strong but also enjoys troubleshooting, improving systems, and working closely with users to deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain existing business applications, ensuring high availability and performance
- Write and optimise SQL queries, including working with T-SQL
- Assist with diagnosing and resolving application and system issues
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate processes and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance systems and implement improvements
- Contribute to ongoing development and integration work where required
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including querying and basic optimisation (T-SQL)
- Proven background in supporting and maintaining business applications (not purely development)
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, VBA, or VBScript
- Good understanding of Microsoft environments, including Office 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory
- Experience with iManage (Work) or similar document management systems is highly desirable
