Senior QA Automation Engineer (Trading Systems | AI-Native | Greenfield)

We’re partnering with a high-growth engineering team building next-generation trading infrastructure from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to join a greenfield project with a strong focus on AI-native development and automation-first quality engineering.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and building automation frameworks from scratch across UI and backend
• Establishing UI testing capability from zero, owning the approach, tooling, and implementation end-to-end
• Working closely with engineers on real-time trading workflows (order lifecycle, execution, market data)
• Embedding AI into QA processes to improve test generation, coverage, and efficiency
• Driving automation-first testing strategy in a fast-moving, high-impact environment

Tech environment

• Playwright, Cypress, Selenium
• Java, Python, TypeScript / JavaScript
• API testing (REST, messaging, event-driven systems)
• CI/CD (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• FIX / trading systems highly beneficial

What we’re looking for

• Strong hands-on QA / SDET background with automation at the core
• Experience building or owning UI automation frameworks from scratch
• Exposure to complex, real-time or trading systems - this is essential, candidates without experience working on financial trading systems cannot be considered.
• Comfortable owning frameworks and working closely with developers
• Interest in AI-native tooling and modern engineering practices
