Location: Cheltenham/Gloucester on site 5 days per week.

Due to security clearance requirements candidates must be eligible for or currently hold SC or DV. Candidates must be sole UK national/British citizen and resided in the UK for 10 years and over.

At DXC, one of our platinum accounts has a position for a Business Analyst. This role will analyse gaps to identify business needs, map out problem spaces, create solution approaches, analyse scenarios and support the development and deployment of organisational changes. The Business Analyst will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and will be highly organised, dynamic, outcome-oriented with excellent communication skills.

Role responsibilities:

• \nInvestigate root causes of problems, identify where a business need exists and shape the project to address this need.\n

\n

• \nEvaluate the options to meet the business need and support the development of the business case for change.\n

\n

• \nResearch, analyse, and define current and proposed business processes.\n

\n

• \nApply gap analysis to identify actions required to implement revised processes.\n

\n

• \nElicit, analyse, and define requirements for business and IT change initiatives.\n

\n

• \nSupport business staff in testing new business and IT changes to ensure acceptability.\n

\n

• \nSupport the deployment of business and IT changes to ensure a smooth transition.\n

\n

• \nAssist with proof-of-concept development.\n

\n

• \nAssist with service design.\n

\n\n

\n

Desirable Skills and Technologies:

• \nExperience in risk and impact analysis.\n

\n

• \nExperience in business process modelling (UML or BPMN).\n

\n

• \nAwareness of business readiness assessments using either the POPIT or CPPOLDAT method.\n

\n

• \nAwareness of the RACI/RASCI framework.\n

\n

• \nExperience with SWOT analysis.\n

\n

• \nExperience in using BPMN and POLDAT.\n

\n\n
