We are now looking for a Programme Planner to play a key role in building confidence in delivery through robust, integrated programme planning.
The Role
As a Programme Planner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality, integrated programme schedules that provide a single, reliable view of delivery progress.
You will use evidence-based planning techniques to ensure clarity across milestones, dependencies, risks, and overall programme confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain integrated programme and project schedules using DXC standard planning tools
Align milestones and deliverables with contractual commitments across the programme
Monitor progress and produce insightful reporting, dashboards, and schedule analysis
Manage baselines, stage gates, and change control in line with governance standards
Facilitate planning workshops and collaborate closely with delivery teams, PMO, and senior stakeholders
Identify and manage schedule risks, issues, and cross-workstream dependencies
Continuously improve planning processes, tooling, and reporting capability
What You'll Bring
Experience in programme or portfolio planning within complex, multi-project environments
Strong capability with planning and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, PowerBI, Excel)
Knowledge of programme and project methodologies such as MSP, PRINCE2, and Agile
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across teams
Desirable Skills
Professional project or programme management certifications
Experience working within enterprise PMO environments
Exposure to automated reporting solutions
Familiarity with Agile planning techniques
