Senior Security Engineer

Location: Central London - on site 5 days per week.

\n

Due to security clearance requirements candidates must be eligible for or currently hold SC or DV. Candidates must be sole UK national/British citizen and resided in the UK for 10 years and over.

The role:

At DXC, one of our platinum accounts has an openings for a Senior Security Engineer. We are looking for the following for successful candidate to join our expanding team.

Role responsibilities :

\n

\n
• \nProvide second and third level technical support on incidents and problems \n

\n\n

\n
• \nMonitor overall system performance and ensure smooth system functionality \n

\n\n

\n
• \nCreate, maintain, and utilise documentation\n

\n

• \nRequirements consulting, design, implementation and maintenance of security toolsets and integrations\n

\n\n

\n
• \nAssist the Account Security Team with processes and policies \n

\n\n

\n

• \nAssist in shaping future security services on key client accounts\n

Desirable Skills and Technologies :

\n

\n
• \nSolid knowledge and understanding of networking\n

\n

• \nExperience in the design, implementation and ongoing management of security toolsets and technologies within both on-premises and cloud environments\n

\n\n

\n
• \nExperience or knowledge of operating systems, PKI, anti-virus, firewalls, device and application control, privileged access management, vulnerability management, security monitoring\n

\n\n

\n
• \nComfortable with scripting eg Powershell, Bash\n

\n\n

\n
• \nGood understanding of non-functional/quality requirements within security toolset designs\n

\n\n

\n
• \nStrong awareness of governance, risk and compliance\n

\n

• \nAwareness and understanding of modern technology tools eg Git, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and their related security considerations\n

\n

• \nAbility to communicate key details of technical solutions to variety of stakeholders, including non-technical audiences\n

\n

• \nAbility to plan, design and demonstrate proof of concepts relating to a variety of security toolsets\n

\n\n
