Summary of the Role:
This apprenticeship is designed for someone beginning their career in digital, data or analytics. Over four years, you will gain practical experience across multiple IT and business domains while studying towards a recognised Degree Apprenticeship. The role supports the development of data models, analytics, reporting, solution design, IT governance, cyber awareness and digital transformation activities across the Group. You will work with senior specialists across IT, Data, Cyber, Networks and Service teams and contribute to real projects from day one. No previous data experience is required — we are looking for curiosity, problem‐solving capability and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Business & Requirements Analysis: Critically analyse business domains, gather requirements and translate them into solution designs.
- Data Modelling & Data Solutions: Support modelling of organisational information needs and assist in building data structures.
- Cyber Security & Risk Awareness: Support simple IT security risk assessments and follow good security practice.
- Digital & Technology Solutions: Apply systematic methodologies for planning and delivering small technology or data projects.
- Networking & Infrastructure Awareness: Understand basics of network design and support related documentation.
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Present findings clearly to both technical and non‐technical audiences.
- Continuous Professional Development: Participate in structured and self‐directed learning as part of apprenticeship requirements.
