Field Hardware Engineer

Hardware Field Engineer - 1 month+ - £300-£325 per day

We are looking for a Field Engineer to replace 44 Switches and 401 WAPs across 141 sites across the South East

The plan has been approved and you will need to be fully mobile and able to work independently to enable the work to be completed.

Your duties will involve:-

• Remove 401 old physical Wireless Access Points (WAP)/fixed at height.
• Install 401 physical WAPs (fixed at height)
• Re-cable the specified switch ports to the specified ports
• Work with network engineer to confirm background changes have been completed.
• Remove 44 physical Wi-Fi Switches
• Install 44 physical Wi-Fi Switches
• Test that all on-site PCs work after the replacements are installed and obtain sign-off from end-user.
• Attend checkpoint meetings and report to Project Manager and Programme Support Office or Team Lead.
