The Role
We're looking for an experienced Data Scientist to develop intelligent, data-driven products that help organisations make better decisions in complex and fast-changing environments.
Working closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, Data Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers, you'll apply advanced analytics, statistics and machine learning to transform large, complex datasets into trusted customer-facing data products.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in building commercially valuable products while helping shape the future of data and AI across a global organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics & Machine Learning
- Design, build, validate and maintain predictive and prescriptive models across travel, security and location-based datasets.
- Apply statistical analysis, machine learning and experimentation techniques to improve data quality, accuracy and reliability.
- Develop risk scoring models, benchmarks and domain-specific analytical frameworks that support customer decision-making.
Product Development
- Translate customer challenges and market requirements into innovative analytical solutions and data products.
- Work closely with Product Managers to help define product value propositions, success metrics and commercial opportunities.
- Contribute to product roadmap planning by assessing technical feasibility, business impact and customer value.
Data Quality & Governance
- Define data quality standards, validation rules and anomaly detection processes.
- Ensure analytical solutions align with privacy, governance and ethical AI principles, particularly within regulated environments.
- Support data lineage, explainability and auditability across analytical outputs.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Partner with Data Engineers to ensure reliable, model-ready data pipelines.
- Work alongside Machine Learning Engineers to deploy and operationalise models at scale.
- Present technical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- 7+ years' experience in Data Science or a similar advanced analytics role.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with experience using modern machine learning libraries.
- Experience building predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear business insights.
- Experience working with large, complex datasets in cloud-based analytics environments.
Desirable
- Experience developing customer-facing or commercially focused data products.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Energy or Security.
- Knowledge of data governance, model explainability and responsible AI practices.
- Experience collaborating with Product Managers and cross-functional engineering teams.
