Role Overview

Looking for a Technical Architect to deliver a 6-week Proof of Concept (PoC) focused on modernising a legacy enterprise integration platform through hosting on AWS.

Individual will have cloud migration experience AWS certified to explore hosting and migration options..

Expertise in Oracle RAC, Weblogic and AWS cloud hosting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a time-boxed 6-week technical investigation and PoC.
• Analyse the current legacy integration platform (WebLogic, Java Integration, Oracle RAC).
• Review design hosting architecture options.
• Build prototypes to validate recommended approaches.
• Produce clear architectural outputs and recommendations for stakeholders.

Required Skills - Experience

• Proven experience in Cloud migration/ modernisation of legacy weblogic and Oracle RAC architectures.
• Experience of integration design including synchronous and asynchronous SOAP/XML
• Hands-on experience designing integration solutions in cloud environments ideally experienced in AWS.
• Experience delivering PoCs, technical investigations, or discovery phases.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, resilience, and modernisation strategies.
• Cost & Risk analysis using trade off matrices to get justified decisions made.

Security Requirements

• Active SC clearance, or eligible and willing to obtain SC clearance.
