SIEM Cyber Security Architect Consultant

Company Description

The company is a successful Cyber Security Consultancy, established some 20 years ago, they have worked for a number of well known organisations. They are rapidly expanding and aim to grow 300% by 2028.

They have been through change and now are leaner and fitter than ever. Due to recent business wins in Aerospace, Defence and Security sectors they are looking for a Cyber SIEM Telemetry / Observability Senior Consultant.

Role Description

The company is seeking a Cyber SIEM Security Consultant for a full-time role based in Bristol to work in the office at least 3 days a week. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for designing / advising clients on solutions for messy, complex real-world telemetry / observability problems.

The Senior Consultant will take ownership of projects, they will shape service definitions and consulting methodology, this is a client facing role, running discovery workshops, writing pipeline design documents and, helping to build a scalable operate offering. The successful person will understand: collect > process > route > store patterns.

**This is not a role where you deliver for someone else.** My client has an experienced team of people who can help you complete projects.

Experience

• Architect - designed or managed data/telemetry pipelines using tools like: Cribl Stream/Edge, OpenTelemetry Collector, Fluentd, Logstash, Vector, or Kafka etc.

• Client-Facing / Consulting - may have run workshops, written design documents, produced roadmaps, or done pre-sales. Perhaps been involved with "discovery" / "design authority".

• Security or Observability - EITHER: tools like (Splunk, Sentinel, Elastic Security, QRadar, Chronicle, CrowdStrike) + detection / threat modelling - OR: SRE / platform + SLI / SLO distributed tracing, service decomposition, OTel - first design etc.

If you have SOME of the experience above AND have Cribl, Observability, OTel, Datadog / Grafana, SLI / SLO, SOC Analyst L2 - it would be worth sending in your CV.
