3D Garment Designer

We are currently recruiting for a 3D Garment Designer to join the creative team of an established and successful fashion business.

This is an opportunity for a creative and technically minded designer to work within a growing 3D function, using digital design technology to support the development and visualisation of garments.

3D Garment Design Responsibilities

• Working alongside the wider Design and Technical teams to develop 3D garments across a varied product range.
• Taking existing designs and creative direction and developing these into accurate and commercially relevant 3D representations.
• Using CLO3D to develop and refine garments throughout the digital development process, including 3D fitting.
• Supporting the wider product development process through 3D visualisation and digital sampling.
• Working with internal teams, customers, and external manufacturing partners to communicate and develop 3D product effectively.
• Keeping up to date with developments in 3D fashion technology, AI and digital design techniques, and identifying opportunities to improve existing workflows.

Additional Information

The ideal candidate will have previous experience using CLO3D within a fashion or product design environment, together with a good understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and the wider product development process.

A strong fashion aesthetic and awareness of current trends will be important, alongside good communication and organisational skills. Experience with software such as Illustrator, Photoshop or Blender would be beneficial, as would exposure to AI-assisted design tools and workflows.

Experience across multiple product categories would be advantageous.
