Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end technical project delivery, streamline process workflows, and manage client relationships. In this role, you will operate with high autonomy. You will own technical project roadmaps, mitigate risks and act as a primary liaison between clients and the technical engineering teams.

  • Working Across Teams: Drive collaboration between data analysts, engineers, and executive stakeholders. Ensure team alignment with project goals and remove delivery blockers swiftly.
  • Quality & Risk Control: Establish frameworks for project quality assurance, risk mitigation, and clear scope definition (including drafting detailed Project Charters and SOWs).
About You

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 3–5+ years of proven project management experience within a technical, software development, or data consultancy environment.
  • Deep expertise in Jira & Confluence: Advanced mastery of Atlassian tools, including board setup, workflow configuration, metric reporting, and process automation.
  • Technical Background: Hands-on background or strong working familiarity with roles across software/data delivery (e.g., prior experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Scrum Master).
  • Communication & Documentation: Exceptional written and spoken English. Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear deliverables for clients and write robust project documentation (Project Charters, SOWs, status reports).
  • Agile & Delivery Mastery: Proven success designing, implementing, and refining end-to-end delivery processes across the full project lifecycle.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable with initial remote working, regular bi-weekly travel to Oxford (which remains permanent), and ready to transition to a Newcastle office footprint when launched.

Nice to haves:

  • Team leadership experience.
  • Formally recognised credentials (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, CSM, or PSM).
  • Experience working within the Telecommunications (Telco) industry.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace tools.
