Location: Gloucester / Field Based
Rate: 300 per day (Outside IR35)

A leading public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Windows 11 Rollout Engineer to support the delivery of a major end-user technology upgrade across its estate.

This is a hands-on, field-based role providing 2nd and 3rd line support during the deployment of Windows 11 devices. You'll be working across multiple sites in Gloucestershire, delivering high-quality technical support and excellent customer service to users throughout the rollout.

Valid NPPV3 clearance is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to end users during the Windows 11 deployment.
• Build, configure, and deploy Windows 11 machines across the organisation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and desktop issues efficiently.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience in user-facing environments.
• Support end users, resolve queries, and ensure minimal disruption during migration.
• Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure smooth rollout delivery.
  

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in desktop or field support roles.
• Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 environments , device builds, and deployment processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working in secure or regulated environments such as policing, public sector, or defence .
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites (pool cars provided).
