Experienced Tech & Engineering Recruiter (Lead Talent Acquisition Manager) - Cheltenham
Datasource is seeking a fierce and experienced Lead Talent Acquisition professional for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on delivery role where you'll capture requirements , manage client stakeholders , source top IT, Engineering, and Tech talent , and lead a small team to deliver results .
Datasource specialises in placing talent for prestigious Defence, Government, and Technical clients .
Key Responsibilities:
Mentor a team of 5-10 recruiters, supporting development through 1:1s
Manage and grow client accounts, translating their requirements into actionable talent strategies
Provide senior stakeholders with market insights and performance updates
Deliver high-quality recruitment across permanent and contract roles in tech and engineering
What You'll Bring:
Experience in technical or engineering recruitment
Confidence to speak directly with clients, understand nuances, and strategically shape roles
Ability to translate client requirements into team guidance and targeted searches
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Thrive in a fast-paced, high-integrity environment
Hours & Location:
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (onsite, Cheltenham)
One in three Wednesdays: 10am-6:30pm
One Saturday every two months (day off in lieu)
Salary & Benefits:
£38,000-£45,000 per annum + £5,000 completion bonus
23 days holiday + 8 UK bank holidays
