Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior PeopleSoft Automation Tester with 5 to 10+ years of experience in PeopleSoft application testing and test automation. The candidate should have strong expertise in PeopleSoft modules, automation frameworks, test planning, execution, and defect management. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams to ensure high-quality application delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for PeopleSoft applications.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Validate PeopleSoft customizations, upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Execute automated and manual test cases and document test results.
- Identify, track, and manage defects through resolution using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.
- Mentor junior testers and contribute to automation framework improvements.
- Ensure testing deliverables meet quality standards and project timelines.
Required Skills:
- 5 to 10+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Strong experience in PeopleSoft applications (HCM, FSCM, Campus Solutions, or CRM).
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, UFT/QTP, Tosca, or similar.
- Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience in API testing and integration testing is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades and migration projects.
- Testing certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.) are a plus.
- Experience working with global teams and enterprise-level applications.
