Senior Business Analyst
Business Analysis Consultant – Wiltshire, Bristol and North West London – Permanent (37.5 hours per week) – £65,000 - £120,000 per annum – SC or DV Clearance
Our client are a specialised consultancy delivering technical delivery and transformation.
You will be leading complex analysis across defence and secure government programmes. Focusing on building business requirements into solutions and outcomes whilst liaising with senior stakeholders.
You will need strong knowledge and experience working with the MOD, utilising your deep knowledge on the MOD to drive effective decisions.
Working Patterns: 2-3 days per week on site The majority of the work will be in the south west areas, but you must be willing to travel to London as and when the business requires.
The Key Responsibilities of a Business Analysis Consultant:
- Lead complex business analysis across Defence and secure government programmes.
- Creating clear requirements to ensure alignment with organisational objectives. Utilising your experience to drive expert decision making.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and partners to capture needs, manage dependencies, and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Apply deep MOD domain knowledge, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, to drive effective delivery.
- Leverage experience across central government and secure environments.
- Showcasing insights from multiple sectors to strengthen programme outcomes.
- Provide thought leadership and mentorship to support the growth of our client's business analysis capability.
Below is a list of Key Skills required for the Business Analysis Consultant, however you will not be expected to have everything:
- An experienced Consultant with extensive MOD experience and exposure to wider government programmes.
- Proven ability to operate at senior levels, shaping outcomes and influencing strategic decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methods and frameworks; a BCS Diploma in Business Analysis (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to the people-first, can-do culture.
