Location: London, hybrid, typically in the office Monday to Wednesday

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Job ref: J13027

Datatech Analytics is partnered with a fast growing tech company helping some of the best known UK brands turn first party customer data into better decisions and better experiences for their customers.

This is not a "keep the lights on" role, it is a build, learn, and grow environment. You will join a friendly, cross functional team where clean, modern engineering underpins everything. You will sit alongside AI engineers and analysts, see how models are taken into production at scale, and watch your pipelines power real outcomes for real people.

The culture is collaborative and supportive. The team values different backgrounds and ways of thinking, and is keen to hear from people who may be early in their data career, changing direction, or returning after a break.

What you will do

  • Build robust, well structured data pipelines in Python and SQL,
  • Work with modern cloud platforms, for example Azure, AWS, or GCP,
  • Bring machine learning outputs into data products that people actually use,
  • Automate and monitor data flows so they are secure, observable, and reliable,
  • Contribute to DevOps practices, CI and CD, testing and documentation,
  • Work closely with product, AI, and analytics colleagues to solve customer problems together.

What you will bring

You do not need to tick every box to apply. If most of this feels like you, we would be happy to hear from you.

  • Around one plus years in a data engineering, analytics engineering, or platform role, or equivalent hands on project experience,
  • Some exposure to DevOps ways of working, for example CI and CD, git based workflows, or infrastructure as code,
  • A STEM background such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar, or strong practical experience in place of a degree,
  • Curiosity, a willingness to ask questions, and a focus on delivering useful, reliable solutions,
  • A collaborative mindset, with an interest in mentoring and being mentored as you grow.

This role is ideal if you are early in your data engineering journey and want genuine exposure to AI, automation, and cloud delivery. You will see how a modern AI platform is built, scaled, and improved, and you will have space to learn, stretch, and take ownership over time.

Non linear careers are welcome here, including people who have taken time out for caring responsibilities, study, or a move into data from another discipline.

If this sounds like a place where you could do your best work, we would be delighted to talk.

No sponsorship available, not available for post study visa holders.
