Working with a leading consulting and technology organisation using AI and advanced analytics to complement traditional operational research and modelling, solving complex, real-world problems across industries.

The role

• End-to-end data science, from problem framing through to deployment

• Applying AI and machine learning alongside OR techniques and optimisation

• Building models that drive planning, forecasting, and decision-making

• Working closely with data engineering and platform teams

• Translating complex outputs into clear, actionable insight

• Agile, cross-functional delivery

Tech

Python, SQL, R, Databricks, PySpark, GIS tools, optimisation frameworks, cloud platforms

Requirements

• Degree or higher in Data Science, Mathematics, Operational Research, Engineering, Physics, Geography, or similar
• Experience working with geospatial data, GIS, or location-based analytics
• Strong grounding in modelling, optimisation, or advanced analytics
• Interest in combining AI with traditional OR approaches
• Strong problem-solving mindset
• Confident communicator, able to bridge technical and business
