Senior Analyst, Data Governance

Help shape how a business builds trust in data

We’re partnering with a business investing in its data future, building a modern platform on Microsoft Fabric and now putting the governance foundations in place to make that transformation stick.

This role sits at the intersection of platform, people and process, helping shape how the organisation understands, trusts and uses data.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact role where you’ll influence both the framework and how it’s adopted day to day.

You’ll help ensure the platform is not only implemented, but genuinely used, understood and trusted across the business.

If you’re interested in governance that enables progress, not slows it down, this is a strong opportunity to step into.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and implement governance frameworks across the data lifecycle
  • Establish data ownership and stewardship across business areas
  • Define access, security and classification policies
  • Build lineage, data catalogues and a usable business glossary
  • Support Fabric adoption through training, guidance and engagement

What They’re Looking For

  • Experience influencing across technical and non-technical teams
  • Background in data governance, data management or similar roles
  • Strong understanding of ownership, lineage and access control
  • Exposure to data or platform transformation environments
  • Familiarity with Fabric or similar platforms is helpful
  • CDMP or similar certification is beneficial, not essential

Why This Role

You’ll play a key role in turning a platform investment into a long-term capability.

This is governance that is practical, embedded and genuinely valued by the business, with the opportunity to shape how it evolves.
