Compliance Manager - 14 Month FTC - Remote UK Davies is partnering with a leading Research and Consultancy firm who are looking for Compliance Manager to join them on a 14 month FTC. This is a pivotal role where you’ll ensure the organisation meets regulatory requirements and industry standards, while shaping a strong culture of compliance across the business.Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement compliance programs with a strong focus on Data Protection.
- Collaborate with IT security consultants, the Data Protection Officer, and external service providers to manage audits, due diligence requests, and certifications (ISO, Cyber Essentials).
- Act as the internal expert on data management, advising on personal data processes including informed consent.
- Document and streamline business processes, creating clear roadmaps for compliance.
- Drive process improvements to enhance organisational efficiency.
- Ensure staff adhere to data protection and information security requirements.
- Conduct internal audits, track risks, and oversee remediation.
- Lead compliance training initiatives across the team.
- Manage supplier onboarding, due diligence, and annual compliance checks.
- Perform monthly and quarterly compliance reviews.
- Maintain and update company policies and procedures.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring the organisation adapts to evolving regulations.
- Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR (UK & EU)
- Experience supporting or leading ISO27001 accreditation in small to medium-sized businesses.
- Proven ability to design and manage compliance programs.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Commercially aware with strong business acumen.
- Confident IT user, proficient in MS Office and other platforms.
- Methodical, logical, and process-driven in approach.
