Logistics Operator
Logistics Operator | De’Longhi Group | Kenwood Global Headquarters, Havant, Hampshire | £Competitive + excellent benefits
Support the pulse of our supply chain.
The De'Longhi Group's operations rely on seamless logistics, and we are now looking for a driven Logistics Operator to join our wider Supply Chain Team. In this collaborative role, you will help coordinate UK/Irish export flows, support logistics projects, and manage essential co-packing activities that are critical to our operational success.
About the role
This role places you at the heart of our logistics operations. You will take ownership of the co-pack schedule, liaising closely with sales teams, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and suppliers to ensure product availability and drive process efficiencies in both physical and systematic operations. Beyond co-packing, you will be deeply involved in quality management, working to ensure the highest level of outbound preparation, minimise failed customer deliveries, and conduct root-cause remediation when issues occur.
You'll also act as a crucial link between Quality, Brand, and 3PLs to manage and coordinate customisation and rework requests. As our supply chain evolves, you will support major projects—including the implementation of a new bonded warehouse with the goal of becoming our post-implementation subject matter expert—as well as supporting the Return Relief Management process for tax redemption on UK to EU shipments.
Key responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Owning and controlling the co-packing schedule and workload to drive operational efficiencies.
- Managing outbound preparation and quality, minimising failed deliveries, and root-causing failures.
- Managing and coordinating new and existing customisation and rework requests.
- Working with the sales and sales order management teams to ensure on-site excellence and smooth outbound deliveries.
- Supporting finance teams with shortage investigations by providing proof of delivery (PODs).
- Supporting the implementation of the new bonded warehouse and the Return Relief Management process.
- Assisting with ongoing warehouse and transportation tenders.
- Acting as a Super User in SAP/EWM systems.
- Reviewing processes to identify efficiency improvements and working with the Logistics Manager to implement changes.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations to keep the workspace safe for all users.
About you
We are looking for a naturally curious professional who is not satisfied with the status quo and thrives in a collaborative environment. You should bring proven experience in Logistics Management, alongside strong project management and highly effective interpersonal and team-working skills. A systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem-solving is essential, as is the ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight timelines.
You will need to be IT literate, with strong competence in Google services (particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets) alongside SAP systems. Prior knowledge of the SAP PRD management system and an A Level (or equivalent) education with GCSE passes in English and Maths are highly desirable, as are professional supply planning/logistics qualifications (e.g., CIPS). You must also possess strong written and verbal communication skills to successfully interface with internal teams and external providers, and be able to travel as and when required.
What’s in it for you?
As well as working within a supportive, progressive environment you will enjoy the freedom to grow your role and influence across the business. Our culture is outstanding, with heavy investment into learning and development for all staff. Our benefits include:
- Competitive Salary
- Excellent contributory pension
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Superb subsidised restaurant
- Free on-site parking
- Flexible benefits package
- Access to a range of wellbeing activities and events
