Decision Focus is a leading global software developer of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) solutions

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Denmark, Decision Focus is an agile, no-code platform that allows organisations to create a tailored GRC solution from more than 20 configurable modules, spanning audit, risk, compliance, governance, information security, and regulatory reporting.

The company serves a broad range of sectors, with a core focus on the financial services and insurance industries. Clients are located globally, with strong footholds in the US, UK, and the Nordics.

The Business Development Manager will report to the Head of Marketing. As we continue to scale, we are hiring a proactive Business Development Manager to join our marketing team. This role is central to driving high-quality pipeline generation, maximising event ROI, and ensuring our go-to-market engine runs with accuracy and momentum.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Management & Qualification

· Qualify inbound leads against BANT criteria to determine fit and readiness.

· Contact and nurture prospects from event-generated lists to build and progress opportunities.

· Follow up with event registrants to increase attendance and reduce dropout rates.

· Re-engage dormant (“hard shoulder”) prospects and long-cycle opportunities to reignite interest.

· Produce clear, comprehensive notes and context for seamless handover to the sales team.

Event Engagement

· Represent Decision Focus at selected industry events, confidently engaging prospects in conversation.

· Capture, clean, and manage all marketing-generated data to ensure accurate entry into HubSpot.

· Build targeted outreach lists to maximise pre- and post-event engagement and drive higher ROI.

Marketing & Sales Tool Enablement

· Maintain and optimise key GTM tools (Salesflow, Sales Navigator, etc.) to support prospecting and lead generation.

· Develop and execute outbound campaigns aligned with our go-to-market strategy.

· Create tailored prospect lists and provide relevant materials to support sales outreach.

Pipeline & CRM Management

· Monitor pipeline movement to ensure opportunities progress smoothly through each stage.

· Maintain accurate, up-to-date deal and contact data in HubSpot for forecasting and reporting.

· Provide insights and reporting to support departmental OKRs and KPIs.

Qualifications

· 2–4 years’ experience in business development, sales operations, or customer success (ideally in GRC, SaaS, or enterprise software).

· Strong working knowledge of HubSpot CRM.

· Familiarity with sales enablement tools such as Sales Navigator, Salesflow, or similar.

· Proven experience managing lead qualification processes.

· Analytical, data-driven mindset with experience building and interpreting reports.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

· Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
