Operates in a governance/oversight capacity (supplier-led development environment)

Architecture & Engineering

Strong solution architecture experience (primary skillset)
Ability to translate business needs into working technical solutions
Comfortable interpreting and guiding software development teams

Software Development Background

Deep understanding of software development (hands-on background essential)
Must have previously worked at a low-level / detailed engineering level
Not required to actively code, but must credibly challenge and guide developers

Core Technologies
Broad, multi-stack exposure including:

.NET ecosystem
Databases (relational + NoSQL e.g. Elastic)
Cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
Platforms/infrastructure:

Linux
Virtualisation
Networking

Soft Skills & Stakeholder Management

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
Strong customer relationship management
Effective people management / influencing skills
Ability to operate in a high-profile role across multiple workstreams

Security Clearance (Critical Requirement)

Active DV (Developed Vetting) clearance required – non-negotiable
Candidates must:

Hold current, transferable DV clearance
Have 12 months validity remaining
Must evidence current DV clearance at the point of submission.
