Technical Project Manager

Technical Project Manager
Central London (Office Based)
£70,000 - £90,000 DOE + Benefits + Bonus

Are you a technically minded Project Manager who enjoys supporting smart teams, improving how work gets done, and staying close to the detail? This is your chance to join a forward-thinking technology business where quality output, collaboration and curiosity matter far more than titles or bureaucracy.

You'll join a growing organisation of around 60 people working across advanced technical projects. The environment is hands-on, friendly, and non-corporate - ideal for someone who thrives on making a tangible day-to-day impact and being at the heart of how technology teams deliver.

What you'll be doing

  • Act as the central point of contact between development, research, analysis, and operations teams.
  • Coordinate multiple technical projects, ensuring priorities, timelines and resourcing stay aligned.
  • Structure workflows, manage ticketing systems and monitor progress to keep delivery on track.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implement practical process improvements.
  • Balance the needs of legacy systems while helping evolve more modern operational practices.
  • Organise and chair team meetings, ensuring visibility and accountability across projects.
  • Communicate with external partners where required and promote effective, collaborative decision-making.

What you'll bring

  • Degree-level education (BSc or higher) in a technical, engineering, or related subject.
  • 5+ years' experience delivering or coordinating complex technical/software projects.
  • Strong technical understanding - ideally with knowledge of development concepts (e.g. C#, .NET, SQL Server).
  • Logical, analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and structured problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with colleagues of varying technical backgrounds.
  • Proactive, grounded, hands-on attitude - comfortable supporting teams rather than directing from afar.
  • Comfortable working full-time on-site in a smaller, agile environment.

Desirable (not essential): Experience with project/ticketing tools, version control systems (e.g. Git, PlasticSCM, Hg), and awareness of project management best practices or frameworks.

What's on offer

  • Competitive salary of £70k - £90k DOE + bonus + excellent benefits.
  • Private health insurance, pension scheme, gym membership with PT sessions and more.
  • A non-corporate, collaborative culture with genuine work-life balance.
  • Real opportunity to shape how the business operates as it continues to grow.
  • Exposure to complex, technology-driven work in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Practical details: This is a full-time, office-based position in Central London (EC3A), ideally suited to candidates within a one-hour commute. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Flexible start date - ideally sooner rather than later.
