Senior Systems Engineer - Model-Based Engineering & Digital Transformation
Location: Hertfordshire - Hybrid (2-3 days on-site per week)

About the Role:
Are you passionate about advancing systems engineering through cutting-edge digital technologies? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Systems Engineer to lead the evolution and deployment of Model-Based System Engineering practices across UK programmes. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of engineering by integrating digital tools, generative AI, and data analytics into complex systems environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the continued development and implementation of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) across UK projects.
- Lead initiatives to extend MBE principles across engineering disciplines, including Systems Analysis, Speciality Engineering, and model-driven design.
- Spearhead the integration of generative AI into systems engineering workflows, including productivity tools and specialist toolkits.
- Oversee engineering data modelling, governance, and analytics initiatives, ensuring effective deployment and utilisation.
- Develop and document best-practice guidance for emerging digital engineering methodologies.
- Deliver training, coaching, and consultancy support to national and international project teams.
- Stay current with technical advancements and continuously enhance your capabilities to support evolving project needs.
What We're Looking For:
- A seasoned systems engineer with a strategic mindset and strong leadership capabilities.
- Deep understanding of Systems Engineering methodologies and practical experience with MBSE.
- Experience in digital transformation within engineering contexts is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to deploy new capabilities in large engineering organisations.
- Strong influencing skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a related discipline.
