Systems Engineer - Integration & DeploymentDefenceBristol BasedSC Clearance Eligible Required must be British Nationals due to secure environmentWe're recruiting for a Systems Engineer to join a team delivering complex, multidisciplinary training systems within a highly secure environment.This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys taking systems from concept through to integration, testing, and deployment. The role is focused on practical engineering and system integration rather than purely documentation-based systems engineering.What You'll Be DoingTranslating system requirements and architectures into deployed, operational solutions.Supporting requirements, design, integration, verification, and testing activities across the full system lifecycle.Integrating and configuring hardware, software, operating systems, peripherals, and networking infrastructure.Performing system bring-up, installation, deployment, and commissioning activities.Executing system verification and validation testing.Diagnosing and resolving issues across hardware, software, and interfaces.Producing technical documentation to support deployment and operation of systems.Working on-site during integration and deployment phases to ensure successful delivery.What We're Looking ForExperience in Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, Test & Integration, or a related engineering discipline.Experience working across the system lifecycle, including:RequirementsDesignIntegrationTest & VerificationStrong hands-on experience with:Hardware integrationSystem configuration and deploymentNetworkingOS and application installationTroubleshooting complex technical issuesUnderstanding of system-level behaviour, interfaces, and multidisciplinary engineering environments.Security RequirementsDue to the nature of the programme, applicants must:Be a British NationalBe eligible to obtain SC ClearanceBe comfortable working within a secure environmentIf you're a practical, hands-on Systems Engineer who enjoys building, integrating, testing, and deploying complex systems, I'd be keen to speak with you.Please apply or contact me directly for a confidential discussion.TPBN1_UKTJ
