Working for a globally recognised brands operating across retail, wholesale and much more with 1000's of physical stores, distribution centres, warehouses to vans on the road covering most of the globe.

This role is somewhat of a Tech Principal / Staff level Engineer / Architect that isn't cutting code for Projects, but instead, working across multiple Engineering teams to ensure best practice, ways of workings and standards. This is hands on specifically with building out POC's, running demo's and working closely with Tech Leads - environment is AWS, Serverless, TypeScript, Lambda, CDK + more.

Someone that's interested in line managing Tech Leads, and guiding multiple Engineering teams across the business.

Areas of the role include -

• Provide guidance and assurance to Architects, including Technical Architects and Principal Engineers working within Product teams. (TypeScript / Serverless)
• Establish and maintain documentation and modelling standards, including, Event Storming, C4 Modelling, Business Capability Mapping, and AWS diagrams.
• Build out POC's and working closely with Engineering teams!
• Support Governance activities including AWS Well-Architected reviews.
• Collaborating with Stakeholders and various product teams

Key experience required -

• A practitioner, this can be Staff / Principal / Architect level, where you are comfortable technically guiding multiple Engineering teams
• Experienced in leading teams that develop solutions with technologies including (AWS, Serverless, Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, Dynamo + TypeScript/Node/React)
• Strong stakeholder experience, and great relationship building skills.
• Experienced in leading teams to deliver live services across recognised brands.
