As a Project Management Office/Transformation Management Office Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient delivery and driving strategic change within some of our most challenging projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring project success and driving business growth.

As a Senior Manager, you will have responsibility for:

  • Provide guidance on large-scale programmes and collaborate with internal teams and clients to establish strategy and implementation of roadmaps.
  • Support clients throughout the whole project lifecycle activities across discovery, data analysis, solution design and build, end-to-end testing, integration and change and go-live.
  • Work within diverse teams to deliver measurable business outcomes to quality and timescales.
  • Standardise project management, planning and tracking ensuring consistent execution across portfolios.
  • Utilise experience with transformation projects to support complex transformation agendas and roadmaps with clients and report on progress effectively.
  • Build effective client relationships with peer-level stakeholders across all business and technical domains including IT, Operations and Risk.
  • Support the definition and implementation of accelerators and standards and promoting adherence to these standards within internal and external programmes and projects.
  • Participate fully within Deloitte to assist the growth of the practice and the Operations & Industry Domain Solutions division including supporting the firm’s commitment to creating a more diverse and inclusive culture.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

  • Strong consulting experience, preferably in wealth management or pensions domains.
  • Experience in successfully managing complex projects including planning and reporting.
  • Experience in coordinating delivery programmes and projects, including risk, issue and change control management.
  • Strong understanding of PMO and TMO best practice.
  • Been a key part of transformation projects and demonstrated ability to support in a team of technology and business advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture, design, development, implementation, migration, and testing.
  • Supported delivery teams to successful project results by managing and monitoring progress, mitigating risks, communicating effectively with stakeholders and adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Advise clients and stakeholders by communicating complex information clearly, building relationships, and providing industry thought leadership.
  • Been part of projects which involved analysing financial data, identifying opportunities, negotiating effectively, managing budgets and resources, and making data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensured delivery standards are followed and deviations from any defined standards are properly addressed and communicated.
  • Led and ensured that solution options are well communicated and approved by Business & Technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in delivering through various ways of working, including waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring junior staff within a wider complex transformation programme.
  • Exceptional reporting, communication and stakeholder management skills
