AI Automation Engineer Needed - Immediate Start (SEIS-Approved UK Startup)

We're building Dentaify, an AI-powered dental performance platform.

Our web developer has already completed the dashboard, database, and API layer. What we urgently need now is an experienced AI/Automation Engineer to build and integrate the automation layer on top of our existing system.

We are an 8-person startup team, SEIS-approved, preparing for investor discussions. Before entering the next funding phase, we need someone who can move fast and execute properly.

What needs to be built:

• AI WhatsApp Chatbot (booking, rescheduling, cancellation flows)
• AI Voice agent (automated confirmations & call handling)
• AI Performance automation logic:
• Scan upcoming appointments
• Send proactive confirmations
• Detect cancellations
• Trigger slot-filling workflows
• Full integration with our existing DB and API (in collaboration with our web developer)
• Deployment under our infrastructure (AWS)

This is not about building dashboards — those are done.

This is about building the automation engine.

Ideal profile:

• Strong backend engineering background
• Experience with Twilio / WhatsApp Business API
• OpenAI / LLM integration experience
• Webhooks, queues, and automation workflows
• Comfortable collaborating with an existing dev team
• Startup execution mindset

• Transition to paid role after funding
