Position Overview Job Title Product Manager - Data Location London Corporate Title Vice President You will be working within the Market Risk Information Technology team (MRIT) within TDI (Technology, Data & Innovation) and own and deliver on the RiskFinder platform to multiple stakeholders and sponsors using Agile practices. RiskFinder is the Bank’s Risk & Capital Management platform. It provides capability to calculate capital metrics, performs risk scenario analysis and portfolio risk analytics and related control functions across the Bank’s business lines. The system calculates over 600 billion scenarios per day on a high-performance compute grid, stores the results into a big data store and provides our end users the capability to aggregate, report and analyze the results. The Data Product Manager role will be delivering towards the capabilities of designing, building and maintaining vast array of data-pipelines together with the adherence and implementation of data-governance controls. You are expected to perform data-mining and analysis and be able to present your findings. You will be part of a product team driving formulation of the roadmap, strategy and backlog for the wider tribe implementing the capability roadmap within an agile cadence whilst working closely with solution architecture, business stakeholders and technology leadership. - Working collaboratively with product and solution architecture towards defining long term product and technology roadmap
- Share and explain roadmap with wider MRIT org, ensure its well understood with any open questions, risks & issues clearly articulated and addressed
- Help team members in their career journey, working with them in formulating clear long term and short term goals, providing coaching and mentoring
- Experience and/or understanding of risk management, capital calculation
- Experience in data analytics/data science and preferable python analytics with willingness to hands-on learn
- Experience in product management, building product backlog, roadmap and clearly articulating strategy and vision
- Exceptional communication skills, able to prepare and present problems and solutions to architecture, senior management and stakeholders
- Being able to provide clear steer and guidance to delivery team, setting clear objectives, escalating & managing risks & issues
