We are working with one of the UKs leading scientific organisations. My client works to ensure environmental, food and agriculture safety throughout the UK.

You will be working on a wide range of projects from bee health monitoring to crop standards regulation!

You will be joining a development team of 18 and will have plenty of opportunity to up skill and collaborate across the business.

They are looking to step up their testing methods both manual and automated and you will be incremental in shaping the testing process for the whole development team.

The Test Engineer will ideally have the following technical skills:

• Experience in functional and regression testing.
• Experience writing end to end test scenarios.
• Ideally ISTQB qualified.
• UI testing knowledge.
• Web accessibility knowledge.
• CI/CD tools experience.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs using the likes of Postman.

The development tech stack they use is Laravel, PHP, Angular MySQL but experience with these isn't a necessity.

This is a mainly remote role you are on boarded with most of the technical teal coming in 4-6 times a year to their office near York.
