Junior Recruitment Consultant
Junior Recruitment Consultant - DevLogic
Hyde Town Centre, Tameside (fully on-site, 5 days a week)
£30k base + uncapped commission
What is DevLogic?
We're a small, specialist tech recruitment firm. We work exclusively with early-stage startups in New York, helping founders hire their first engineers. No fluffy corporate accounts, no volume churn — just fast, focused work with founders building real companies.
What's the job?
You'll learn how to find, approach, and qualify software engineers. You'll spend a big chunk of your day on the phone and on LinkedIn — researching candidates, making outreach calls, qualifying people, and booking interviews.
You won't be left to figure it out alone. You'll get a direct playbook, proper coaching, and someone alongside you who's done 250+ placements. But you do need to be the type who picks up the phone without being told twice.
Hours: 1pm–10:30pm, Monday to Friday.
This shift is intentional. We work with New York-based clients, so our day aligns with US business hours. If you've got mornings free and do your best work in the afternoon and evening, this is a good fit.
Who we're looking for
You don't need a recruitment background. You need the right attitude!
We want someone who's been in a role where rejection is part of the job — call centre, door-to-door sales, field sales, retail, whatever it is. If you've hit targets, handled knockbacks, and kept going, that experience is worth more to us than a degree or a slick CV
This is you if:
- Can hold their own on a call — thinks on their feet, doesn't freeze
- Comfortable cold calling and handling rejection
- Thick-skinned and understands recruitment is a numbers game
- Comfortable with AI but knows it can't replace the human touch
- Looking for a long-term career
What you'll earn
£30K base. Commission is uncapped and starts from your first placement. Realistically - you could hit £40K–£45K total depending on output.
How to apply
Send a short message — no cover letter or fancy CV needed — telling us what role you're coming from and why you want to give recruitment a shot. Keep it brief and straight to the point.
