Group Systems Accountant

Devonshire Hayes have partnered with a fantastic organisation as they are looking to hire a Group Systems Accountant. Below is the scope of this position.

Primarily, my client is looking for a systems person to run the month end and system consolidation. So, someone who has administered a consolidations system. Secondary requirement is to be able to build reports.

- While experience in Cognos would be ideal, while we can also consider alternate tools.

- Some background and experience in SQL/ VBA is needed.

• Perform monthly group consolidations in Cognos Controller.
• Manage the opening and closing of ledgers (Controller and base ledgers).
• Roll forward opening balances in Controller & Load monthly FX rates.
• Maintain and execute the month-end timetable.
• Post group-level journals (eliminations, offsetting, amortization of group intangibles).
• Monitor regional submissions and ensure timely completion.
• Review data quality and provide feedback to regional teams.

This role is mainly remote with occasional travel to either London for Portsmouth.
