1st line Service Desk Analyst
If you are a 1st line Service Desk Analyst with 6-12 months experience, we have a new role we would like to discuss with you.
This is a great entry point into IT with real progression, working within an enterprise scale business with broad tech exposure.
Please note this role requires 5 days per week onsite in Solihull, West Midlands.
What You'll Do
- Provide 1st line support via phone, email, and ticketing system
- Log, triage, and resolve incidents and service requests
- Escalate complex issues where required
- Support hardware, software, and user issues
- Assist with device setup, builds, and deployments
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Tech Skills
Basic knowledge of:
- Windows 10 & 11
- Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365
- PC/laptop hardware & peripherals (printers, etc.)
- Mobile devices
- AV/meeting room tech
What We're Looking For
- 6-12 months' IT support experience (service desk or onsite/field)
- Good communication skills (spoken & written)
- Strong customer service mindset
- Positive, reliable, and team-oriented
- Able to work with urgency and manage workload
Nice to Have
- Exposure to ticketing tools (eg, ServiceNow, Jira)
- Working towards IT certifications (eg, OEM/hardware)
